We are currently recruiting for support workers in Conwy, Denbighshire and Flintshire.
Denbigh: Supporting 3 ladies on an exciting new move into their first home. Supporting them with developing their daily living skills, how to manage their home, and attending social events and work opportunities. Having an interest in keeping active and busy is important for all 3 ladies for different reasons, so a pro active team who are upbeat and looking to support them in this new venture is important to help them achieve their goals.
Llandudno: Supporting two young gentlemen who live in Llandudno. Both lead very active social lives, one volunteers in Venue Cymru as a steward, has a love of rugby and enjoys going to watch his home team play at the rugby club. The other goes regularly to the gym, attends bell ringing practice and loves walking and local fairground rides. Both have their own vehicles so car driver essential. Proactive team members needed for this upbeat house. Some knowledge of autism and cerebral palsy is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided.
Llysfaen: Supporting two ladies and a gentleman living in Llysfaen. All enjoy a variety of activities through the week. One has autism and uses makaton for some communication needs so a knowledge of these would be an advantage but not necessary as relevant training will be provided. Each individual has their own car so car drivers are essential. All have different hobbies and social activities so looking for proactive team members. One lady has a love of motorbikes and enjoys visiting bikers cafes. Another enjoys trips out on trains. The gentleman loves theme parks such as Alton Towers so like minded staff would be ideal.
Rhuddlan: Supporting a gent and two ladies living in Rhuddlan. All 3 enjoy a variety of activities and work opportunities. Having a variety of skills and interests would be beneficial to support in different ways. Previous experience with Adults with Learning Disabilities is preferred but training will be given. Car driver is essential as they enjoy getting out and about, having days out, visiting the zoo and places of interest.
